Stephanopoulos Is Homeless

ABC Anchor George Stephanopoulos and his wife Ali Wentworth have done something that Matt Lauer can't do.

They sold their Hamptons estate.

Mansion Global says that the traditional, shingle-style mansion surrounded by hedges went into contract, asking $5.995 million, last Tuesday, only a few months after the couple relisted the Southampton property.

The 4,800-square-foot home was built in 2005 and features a mix of modern amenities and classic Hamptons architectural details, including a large covered veranda at the back of the house.

It has five bedrooms, a 1,000-bottle wine cellar, personal gym, media room and wet bar. Outside, the 1.5-acre lot encompasses a pool, tennis court and open lawn.
