Charlotte News Anchor Arrested For Assaulting Female

Cops have clamped the cuffs on a Charlotte Anchor and charged him with "assault on a female."

WCCB Anchor Terrance Bates was on Tuesday and spent the night in jail before being released yesterday. 

The police report did not say who the female was that Bates is charged with assaulting. FTVLive looked through WCCB's website and you might be shocked to know, although we found a number of stories on crime and people being arrested, we did not find a story about Bates' bust.

We did find Bates bio page on the WCCB website that says in part, "In his free time Terrance hangs out with his wife and two little girls. YES, they have him wrapped around their respective fingers."
