FIRE!!!

During Friday morning's broadcast at  KBAK/KBFX (Bakersfield) the fire alarm went off at the station and parts of the station started filling up with smoke.

 All "non-essential" personnel were evacuated from the Sinclair station, but the newscast continued uninterrupted without missing a beat.

Apparently, a rooftop HVAC unit failed, resulting in the electrical fire & smoke which was quickly suppressed by Firefighters.

Anchor Erin Briscoe left the smokey station due to her asthma.
