CAREER UPDATE: After three years in Knoxville, my story here has come to an end and a new chapter is about to begin. As excited as I am for this new opportunity, my departure from Tennessee is most certainly bittersweet. In the news biz, we spend more time in the newsroom, out in the field, and traveling in news cars with our co-workers than at home with our families. I will always cherish the meaningful friendships I’ve built here, the stories I’ve told that have changed me, and the people I’ve met along the way who have inspired me beyond measure. Over the past three years, I have evolved both professionally and personally in such a dramatic way, and I couldn’t be more grateful for this life-altering journey. I will always look back at my many memories in Knoxville with a smile. So without further ado, I am thrilled to announce that it’s time for career move number 4! I am headed West to Sacramento, California to report in the capital of the largest state in the country (making the jump from TV market #62 to TV market #20). Here’s to the next adventure!
