Former WFTV Meteorologist Kassandra Crimi is returning to Orlando and to WFTV.

Crimi worked at the station and then departed in 2013 for a job in Albuquerque, N.M., where she joined her then fiance.

But now, she’s headed back to Orlando at WFTV starting on January 14th.

“Central Florida and I have so much history,” Crimi said in a statement. “I earned my meteorology degree at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne. It’s the place where I met my husband and I also had an opportunity to work at WFTV as a meteorologist for three years.”

She replaces weekend meteorologist Eboni Deon, who was promoted to WSB in Atlanta.

Both WFTV and WSB are Cox Stations.
