President Trump calls the media “the enemy of the people”, time magazine calls the media “Person of the Year.”

In a year when the media has attacked both verbally and physically, Time Magazine picked a group of Journalists as their “Person of the Year.”

The magazine used 4 covers for their POY. They are murdered Journalist Jamal Khashoggi, the Reuters reporters who have been in jail for a year, Maria Ressa of Rappler and surviving staff from the Capital Gazette (pictured).

While Trump continues to call the media the enemy, which he is almost now doing a weekly basis, the media will continue to have a target on their back.

One can only hope that Trump understands that he is putting people’s lives in danger and is attacking people that are just doing their job to the best of their ability.
