After 18 years WRTV Anchor Ericka Flye has left the Scripps station and no one is saying why?

WRTV and Flye confirmed the exit via social media last week.

“I am grateful to RTV6 and I am blessed by the support of viewers who have watched me for many years,” Flye said on WRTV’s Facebook page.

The station wished Flye “good luck” on Facebook.

WRTV General Manager Lana Durban Scott confirmed Flye’s departure, but declined to say why she left.

Flye anchored the 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts.

Flye did not return phone calls or an email seeking comment.
