Catching Up

Back on October 22nd, FTVLive FIRST told you that Scripps owned KTNV (Las Vegas) had parted ways with Meteorologist Bryan Scofield.

Well, here we are in November and the local paper is finally catching up on the story.

The Las Vegas Review Journal writes that KTNV General Manager Chris Way confirmed the shuffle in his station’s weather lineup, and that a replacement for Scofield is being sought; industry ads list a meteorologist position open at the station. Otherwise, Way said he could not comment on personnel matters.

Scofield is a 20-year news personality, and is the latest veteran broadcaster to leave KTNV this year.

Now that weeks later, the story is finally in the paper, that means the other TV websites can finally cover the story.

FTVLive breaks the news, the others wait for the paper or the press release.
