Bomb Threat at NY Station

The staff at Hubbard Broadcasting’s WNYT had to leave the building on Sunday morning, after a bomb threat was made against the station.

The call came into the newsroom shortly before 11 a.m. Police were immediately notified and the building was evacuated.

Officers with the Menands Police Department and the Albany County Sheriff's Office responded and searched the building. The staff was allowed to return to work a short time later.

Police are continuing their investigation.
