A month ago, FTVLive FIRST told you that Nexstar owned WRIC (Richmond) had hired former Miami and Atlanta Anchor Constance Jones (no relation).

There was no official word from the station at the time, but yesterday Jones sent out this tweet after anchoring the station’s 6PM newscast.

“I'm super excited to be in Richmond,” Jones was quoted in a story posted on the station’s website.

Let’s hope she has learned a few things and lasts longer than she did in her last TV gig.
