Anchor or Zaxbys Spokesmodel?

WTVR (Richmond) Anchor Nikki Dee Ray seems to have a side job as a pitch-woman for chicken chain Zaxbys.

She has been spending a lot of time recently on her social media promoting Zaxbys and even giving away gift cards.

Don’t know if this is her own doing or part of a station promotion, but it would nice if WTVR’s owner Tribune would be a bit more transparent as to what is happening?

There was a day and time when having your Anchors pitch products was a big no-no. Now, it’s almost like it is standard operating procedure.

What the hell is happening to real Journalism?
