This is a Live Shot

So often Reporters are told to go live for the sake of being live. 

A Reporter live in front of a dark building does nothing to peak the viewer's interest. But, the consultants say that stations need to go live, so they do so endlessly. 

Here is a live shot worth watching. NBC Connecticut sent Reporter Christiane Cordero out on a Coast Guard ice cutter as it chopped its way through the frozen water.
