M-I-A in Ft. Myers

Back in April, FTVLive told you that KMTV (Omaha) Anchor Deanne Brink was headed to Southwest Florida to be the new morning Anchor at WINK News.

Well, it seems that Brink did not deal with many hurricanes in Nebraska (go figure) and as Irma was bearing down on Florida, word is that Brink bugged out. 

Sources tell FTVLive that Brink called into work and said she would not be coming in because she was scared of the hurricane. 

While Irma has since passed and the clean up is underway, Brink has still not been on the air. 

Staffers at the station have been working long hours and their morning Anchor is nowhere to be found. 

If you were that afraid of Hurricanes, why did you take a job in Florida? 

WINK is not commenting on Brink's future and her bio is still listed on the station's website.
