Ax Swings in Springfield

FTVLive FIRST told you this morning that Gray Television was going to be swinging the ax today  KYTV and KSPR in Springfield, Missouri.

Word is filtering out of the stations that Gray is merging the two news operations and a number of people are being let go. 

Sources tell FTVLive that Gray will start simulcasting many newscasts.

No final body count as of yet, but it sounds like it is a bloody Friday in Springfield.
