40 Years after the Summer of Sam

Back in 1977 there was a killer on the streets of New York that was targeting women with long dark hair. 

David Berkowitz was known as the .44 Caliber Killer and back in 77 many were scared that they would be a victim. 

WPIX Reporter Jeff Kamen took to the streets and confronted dark hair women for a story. 

He then posed for a selfie in Times Square. Oh wait! That was 1977 and selfies weren't a thing yet.

The Son Of Sam killer Berkowitz was arrested in August of 1977 and claimed that his neighbor's dog instructed him to kill people.
