Newspaper reporter and broadcaster are the two worst jobs to have in 2017, according to a study down by CareerCast.

The median salary of a newspaper reporter is $37,820 with no hope of it increasing this year. Broadcaster has a median salary of $38,870. Now, we'd like to see the methodology of this study, because 'broadcaster' is a pretty vague term in the industry. Nonetheless, the study says the outlook isn't good for improvement in 2017.

Next came logger, enlisted military personnel, pest control worker, disc jockey, ad salesperson, firefighter, retail salesperson and taxi driver round out the top 10.
