Pulling The the Plug on Pelley

Word is that later Today it will be formally announced that Scott Pelley is leaving the CBS Evening News.
Page Six says that Pelley’s’ office was being cleared out on Tuesday while the anchor was away on an assignment for the network’s news magazine “60 Minutes.”
Word is that Pelley is being shifted to 60 Minutes full time.
Page Six writes that Insiders tell us that CBS News president David Rhodes “is making [Pelley] move to ‘60 Minutes,’ ” and that the pair “don’t get on.”
Back last December FTVLive reported on the rumors that CBS was going to pull Pelley from the Evening News, CBS denied the report at the time saying it was not true.
“There’s also been friction between him and [Rhodes],” sources told the NY Post.
No replacement has yet been named.
