More Changes at Kansas City Station

The revolving door continues at Scripps owned KSHB in Kansas City.

Sources tell FTVLive that Lexi Sutter is moving to Phoenix to work at sister station KNXV.

Sutter will be be GA Reporter in the Valley of the Sun. Her last day with us will be May 26th.

Brian Abel is also staying with Scripps but moving to Detroit, WXYZ. He’ll be their new morning Reporter. His last day will be May 24th.

KSHB News Director Carrie Hofmann sent an email to staff talking about a few new hires as well.

Hofmann wrote, "We are excited to announce we have filled all our open producer spots with the addition of Meredith Albair and Nathan Pike.

Meredith currently works as a morning producer in Baltimore, WBFF. She also worked in St. Joe.  Meredith understands morning news and will be a great new addition to the team. She is also a Mizzou grad. She has family in St. Louis and Denver, so this move gets her closer to family.

Nathan currently works in Lafayette, LA at KATC as the 5pm producer.  He also has been a brand manager and an executive producer for a High School sports show on the radio/website. He is married with a young son. He has friends and family in KC. He also went to Penn State.
Both start on June 12th.

We also hired McKenzie Nelson to work as an MMJ for The Now. McKenzie currently works in Chico, CA where she is very comfortable on air, she has gotten of great experience with live and quick turn stories. In fact, she often does her own live shots, no photographer. She also worked in South Dakota. McKenzie is from Kansas City and excited to be returning home.  She went to Center High school and graduated from Southeast Missouri State in Cape Girardeau. She is also very involved in the community. McKenzie will start May 15th.

Several other offers are out, so look for another announcement next week."
