/Fox O&O WFLD in Chicago is getting a new news set and it's just about done. Sources tell FTVLive that the station is holding rehearsals with talent on the "secret" set and getting it ready to launch.
Word is the set will be unveiled in time for the May book, but viewers got a sneak peek by mistake this week.
Despite the fact that employees have been told NOT take or post pictures of the new set on social media, the new set made it's debut on the air.
During Monday night's 9 pm newscast the control room punched up a wrong source and it showed a look at the station's new news set that management was telling no one to show.
