In another move demonstrating Jeff Zucker's lack of 'giving a shit' about credibility, comes a move that continues to boggle the mind of real journalists.
CNN quietly hired Laura Jarrett as a correspondent in their DC bureau, back in September. Now, they're assigning her to cover the Department of Justice. Laura is the daughter of Valerie Jarrett, arguably one of former president Obama's closest advisors. Not to mention, she has no experience as a reporter or journalist. None.
What is her experience? She's a Harvard educated lawyer who defended companies and individuals against the Justice Department as a private attorney in Chicago.
Hey, doesn't every network hire people with ZERO journalism experience? Maybe Time-Warner will hire us as CEO of CNN. After all, we write about the network.
