Stations Fooled by Fake Strongmen

A pair of pranksters blasted out a fake press release to local stations—citing a nonexistent tour and an America’s Got Talent appearance.

The "strongmen" who called themselves Chop and Steele, were able to dupe a number of local stations into booking them on the air.

WFMZ in Allentown, PA. and Gray owned WEAU in Eau Claire, Wis. were just some of the stations that fell for the hoax.

Watch as the duo pull the wool over the Anchors eyes by breaking tiny sticks and doing other crap.

This does not bode well for local TV.
