Nexstar Names New ND in Buffalo

Nexstar has named a new News Director at WIVB in Buffalo and they did not have to go far to find her. 

Acting News Director Lisa Polster has been bumped up to the ND chair at the new Nexstar station.

Before the "acting" role, Polster was the Morning Executive Producer at the station. But, she also has News Director experience and has it in Buffalo.

Before coming to WIVB, Polster was the News Director, across the street at last place station WKBW. She was also an EP at WKBW, before being bumped up there. 

Polster is a native of Buffalo and now gets a second chance of being News Director in the same market she grew up in.
