ND Gets Bumped Up In Arizona

Every now and then, you see a News Director get bumped up to the big office. That's what's happening at KOLD Tucson.

The Raycom station announced it is promoting ND Joe Hengemuehler to GM. It's always nice to see a "news guy" get the promotion, then some sales chimp. 

Hengemuehler has been ND at the station since October 2015.

Previously, he's been ND in Phoenix and worked in DC and Oklahoma City.

Now he has the fun task of replacing himself.....imagine that interview?

"Well our last News Director was simply the best the station ever had, we're hoping that you can be half as good as the last guy."
