Here You Go

You know when TV stations get in a retrans pissing match with a cable or satellite provider?

The TV station demands more money to carry their single, the cable company says no and the pissing match starts.

The two take shots at each other and say that it's all about you the viewer.

Which is utter bullshit!

Then after the nsaty comments about each other, the two sides come to an agreement, in which they NEVER expose the details and life goes on.

But, you know that more money the station is demanding means your monthly TV bill is going up.

DirecTV has sent a notice to customers that starting next year, their bill is going up. They write, "Due to higher costs of programming, the monthly rate for the below services will increase on January 21, 2018, and the changes will appear in billing statements starting on that date."

In other words that station that says they "care for you" really doesn't. They just want your money.

They are not "looking out for you" and the while they will "ask the tough questions" they will not answer how much money they are making the cable companies pay for you to watch them?

The next time you see a station and cable company get into a retransmission fight, cut the cord, buy a Tickbox and tell them both to screw off.

Both companies are about greed and money and it has nothing to do with you the viewer.

That I can assure you.
