Bumped Up in Charlotte

WSOC announced that Brittney Johnson will officially become the station's new morning co-anchor.

Johnson will join the team of John Paul, Blaine Tolison, meteorologist Keith Monday and Traffic Team 9’s Mark Taylor.

She will co-anchor Eyewitness News Daybreak on Channel 9 and Eyewitness News This Morning on TV64.

Johnson joined the WSOC news team as a reporter in March 2015 and most recently has been anchoring the weekend morning news.

Johnson is also a proud graduate of West Charlotte High School. Before returning to her home state, she was a reporter and anchor at KARK in Little Rock, Arkansas, and Monroe, Louisiana.
