Sinclair Plans to Stay Put in Hunt Valley

Sinclair says that even after they gobble up Tribune, the company is not going anywhere. 

After getting some sweet government handouts, Sinclair says they plan on staying put in Hunt Valley, Maryland after the merger.

The company is getting a will get a $1.3 million conditional loan through the Maryland Economic Development Assistance Authority and Fund, and a $130,000 conditional loan from Baltimore County in connection with its pledge to expand. 

Sinclair says it expects to add 367 full-time employees by the end of 2023.

Of course, it is also expected that they will lay off at least that number at Sinclair stations across the country.
