Getting out of the Business

Longtime WRAL (Raleigh) Reporter Julie Sims is leaving the station and TV news altogether. 

Sims posted to social media that she's not even waiting for the November book to be over, she's signing off on Nov. 7th and headed to a job outside of TV news.

Although she didn't say, Sims is taking a communications job with the City of Raleigh.
