Signing Off in Charlotte

A longtime Charlotte Reporter says you can stick a fork in him, he's done.

Or almost.

After 33 years at Cox owned WSOC, Reporter Jim Bradley announced his plans to retire

Bradley is the longest serving reporter in the Charlotte area.

“It’s been a wonderful opportunity to be a part of the community as well as an incredible journey to witness firsthand the transformation of this great city,” said Jim Bradley.

“Viewers and those of us who have had the pleasure of working with Jim have all benefited from his talents and his dedication to quality journalism,” said Joe Pomilla, WSOC Television, Inc. Vice President and General Manager. “We want to thank him for his many years of hard work and dedication to the Eyewitness News family and the Charlotte community.”

Of course because this is TV news and no just announcing they are retiring and leave, Bradley will hang around until January before stepping down.

His last day at work will be January 3, 2017.
