When you newscast just isn't up to par with the other stations in town, you can do one of two things.
You can make it better with top notch reporting and work. Or, you can just start paying the viewers to watch your newscast.
WUSA in DC opted for the 2nd approach.
The Tegna station is giving away $20,000 to try and get viewers to watch their station.
Hmmmm? This all seems to be happening as the November book approaches. I'm sure that's just a coincidence.
