NBC Ready to Cut the Bush

It appears that Billy Bush might go down in Today Show history as having the shortest Anchor job ever on the show.

Bush joined the Today Show full time at the Rio Olympics in August, here we are in early October and it is a good bet he has anchored his last show.

The Peacock suspended Bush over is actions in an 11 year old video, in which while talking to Donald Trump, he laughed and egged on Trump as he made vulgar comments about Bush's then co-host Nancy O'Dell.

Staffers at the Today Show were said to be disgusted with Bush's actions on the video and many went to their boss to complain.

Page Six reports that the Today Show staff is being urged to come forward “with any concerns about Bush, his inappropriate behavior or frat-boy mentality.” Staff, particularly women, were polled about how they feel about Bush at a meeting at 30 Rock on Monday.

In other words, it appears that NBC is building a case to fire Bush for cause, enabling them to not pay out his contract.

Starting this morning, NBC is using Carson Daly on the 9AM hour of Today in Bush's old role.

Back before this election cycle started, many expected a Bush to play a key role in the 2016 Presidential election, no one thought it would be Billy Bush.

Stay tuned....
