A Kansas City tweeted and then deleted a story about a small child being decapitated in an accident.
WDAF Reporter Megan Brilley tweeted the news after the KC Police Chief said they were working an accidental death at the park.
Brilley tweeted out this before confirming:
Now, this is the kind of tweet that really did not need so much detail, especially since it was not yet confirmed.

Others on Twitter quickly chimed in on Brilley's tweet:
After the backlash, Brilley finally deleted the tweet. It was later confirmed that a young boy was killed at the park.
As for Brilley? Life on Twitter goes on.
