Bounced in Tampa

Sources tell FTVLive that a Tegna station's Digital Content Manager has been fired after a posting to her Facebook page. 

FTVLive was the FIRST to tell you that while search crews were looking for the 2 year old boy went missing in a Disney Lake, WTSP's Theresa Collington was posting this to Facebook: 

It was shocking that someone would post such a callous message to social media. It was more shocking that the person that did it, oversees digital content for the station. 

Sources tell FTVLive that Collington no longer works for the station. Word is that higher ups at Tegna, read the story on FTVLive and were shocked that it came from one of their stations. 

FTVLive put in a call to WTSP News Director Bob Clinkingbeard, but have not heard back from him. When (if) we do we'll update you.
