Oopsy!

WREX in Rockford IL reported a story that the Boone County fair was moving to a new city and date. 

Boone county is right next to Rockford.

This story was news to the people that ran the Boone County fair in Illinois, they knew nothing about it. 

After WREX looked a little deeper into the story that reported (shouldn't you do that first), they found out that the Boone County they were reporting about, was BOONE COUNTY MO, approx a 400 mile drive away.

The station did not fact check, nor call the fair board for comment.
