A Sign of the Times?

WSOC is going down, at least the sign out in front of the station is. 

On Friday, the station pulled down their sign in front of the building. The station says that the sign was taken down, because a big road construction project happening in front of the WSOC studios. 

The sign will be down until next year, when the construction is finished. 

The sign’s base went up in the mid-1980s and the sign itself has undergone logo changes.
