Some Plans Just Don't Come Together

WKBW, the dog station in Buffalo was luck enough to have the Oscars airing on their channel. It was a chance for the last place station to pick up some new viewers. 

News Director Rob Heverling sent out a couple of internal memos, hoping to get the staff all fired up for the Oscars and get them tweeting.

Sometimes the best laid plans just don't come together. But it seems like crosstown competitor WGRZ was on board with Heverling's idea. 

They didn't even have the Oscars on their station either:
