Like We Said....

A week ago, FTVLive told you to look for WHP (Harrisburg) to announce that they hired they hired formerWHTMAnchor/Reporter Al Gnoza.

Gnoza left WHTM after making a joke he made about Three Mile Island.

There were scheduled Three Mile Island emergency warning siren tests going on and Gnoza wrote on social media,  "If you hear a siren tomorrow, we are all going to die."

He never returned the the station after that posting.

We told you last week to look for WHP to announce they have now hired Gnoza.

The station just announced that starting Monday, December 14, Al Gnoza and Tanya Foster will co-anchor CBS 21 News at 5 and 5:30.

“I can’t wait to be back on the air doing what I love to do,” Gnoza said. “It’s been so much fun here already. The folks at CBS 21 have been great. And I can’t say enough about the support I’ve gotten from so many people in the area. It’s been a blessing.”

“Al is great addition to our already strong news team,” WHP News Director Mike Bothwell said. “He has a unique charisma and energy that makes him very popular in our market. We are truly excited to have him on our team.”

We're guessing he is done with the Three Mile Island jokes though.
