As Sam Champion gets ready to be pushed out....errrrrr....sign off from the Weather Channel's AMHQ, he will be replaced by the American Bald Ego, Jim Cantore.

Sources tell FTVLive that the The Weather Channel's morning show will still be branded AMHQ, of course without Champion's name on the end.

The new anchor lineup appears that it will be Cantore in place of Champion alongside Stephanie Abrams, and 3rd anchor yet to be decided (most likely not Jen Delgado).

Champion gets knocked back to a once a week show in prime time.

In other Weather Channel news, Anaridis Rodriquez’s contract was just renewed for 2 years.

We also hear that plans are in the works to bring Nick Walker back fulltime. No timeslot decided on yet.
