Last month, FTVLive first told you that KMGH GM Brad Remington was leaving the company. He lasted less than a year at the station.
In his announcement to the staff, Remington said he was going to spend more time with his family, including his grand kids, and would guide the station through the end of the year. Evidently, Scripps decided today is close enough. It will be Remington's last day.
In the interim, Scripps regional VP Ed Fernandez is coming in from Detroit and will run the station until a replacement is found.
Based on feedback from staffers inside KMGH, we're betting there's a good chance no cake will be served.
