During yesterday's shooting coverage Chattanooga it appears CNN used footage shot by Scripps owned WTVF in Nashville.
The video showed the bodies of the dead Marines laying on the ground.
WTVF took to social media to apologize for CNN airing their video. WTVF claims they never aired the video and that CNN has quit showing the images:
Yesterday, James Holmes was found guilty of walking into a Colorado movie theater and murdering 12 people.
12 people went to the movies for a couple hour escape and are gunned down by this idiot.
This morning, KRDO tweeted out what was coming up on their morning show Good Day Colorado.
This is what they tweeted:
Yes.... they tweeted about the guy that killed 12 people in a movie theater and then the second story they promoted was, "what's new at the movies."
Seriously?!
Even if you have almost zero common sense, you would have to see what was wrong about that tweet. Right?
Shaking my head.
Former WPTV Weather Anchor Rob Lopicola, who is serving 4 1/2 year sentence for having sex with underage boys, will have some more prison time when that sentence ends.
Lopicola pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud in April in connection to a telemarketing scam, and was sentenced to 21 months in a federal prison and two years probation.
He won't start serving the federal time until after his sentence for sex with young boys is served. He’s scheduled to be released from the state system in October 2016 on those charges.
Lopicola was scamming people that were trying to sell their timeshares. He would promise them he had a buyer and make them cough over cash to have the deal go through. After they paid up, no buyer was presented and the seller was out the money.
“The defendant was personally responsible for victimizing 77 people and defrauding those victims of an estimated 154,743.60,” Lopicola’s plea agreement reads.
This idiot should not be out of prison before 2018 and if you ask us that might be 20 years too short.
Just saying....

Denver's KMGH will run its first advertisement for a legal marijuana company in the next week.
The station’s vice president said it will follow the state’s strict cannabis advertising laws.
“KMGH has agreed to accept ads from legal cannabis businesses,” said Brad Remington, the station’s vice president and general manager. “The first of these TV ads will probably air within the next week. We have set some strict guidelines on when these ads can run and the content of the ads. Ads for recreational use, for example, cannot air until after 10 p.m. and cannot show people using the product. We will also accept ads from legal businesses on The Denver Channel, with restrictions.”
One of the station’s first pot ads will promote Neos, a company that extracts cannabis oil and sells oil-loaded vape pens in Colorado and Southern California.
So what changed the ABC affiliate’s mind on pot ads?
“The world is changing, evolving and we need to constantly take a look at things,” said KMGH’s Remington. “After careful deliberations, we have elected to accept ads from what is now a legal business in Colorado and apply some of the same restrictions and standards that we do for similar adult products, like hard liquor.”
The ad will air at 10:35 p.m. July 20 — after the news and before “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
Because let's face it, you don't want your viewers high for the news, but Kimmel might be funnier after a few bong hits.

Nexstar owned KLAS in Las Vegas has started using the web address LasVegasNow.com for their station's website.
Many people still go to the station's homepage using the old URL 8NewsNow.com.
Problem was, a few days ago that domain expired and people that went to the page show a Go Daddy landing page, telling you that you could purchase the domain.
KLAS finally figure out why they were seeing a drop in web traffic and quickly renewed the domain which now redirects to LasVegasNow.com.
WGN Anchor Robin Baumgarten had trouble trying to hold it together while reading a news story.
The story was about what one woman believes is ethical fur fashion.
Pamela Paquin creates stylish fur pieces form deceased animals left on the side of the road.
Huh?!
Let's go to the video:

It's not uncommon for TV stations to hire an ex-player from the local NFL team.
WTLV has hired a formerJacksonville Jaguar, but he didn't play any games, he was the team mascot.
After 19 years as Jacksonville Jaguars mascot Jaxson de Ville, Curtis Dvorak will be working as a co-host of the daily magazine show First Coast Living and as a entertainment and lifestyle reporter for Good Morning Jacksonville.
"I'm not dead…I'm going to do something I've done for 19 years…..entertain Jacksonville….I just won't be covered in fur.", Dvorak says of his new role.
The station says that VP/Programming Bonnie Solloway and News Director Meagan Harris know that 'the artist formerly known as Jaxson De Ville' will be a perfect addition to First Coast News – a team that prides itself on staying nimble enough to think differently, take risks and have fun.
"We look forward to unmasking and unleashing Curtis's boundless enthusiasm and considerable talents - each and every day.", says First Coast News President and General Manager Rob Mennie.
KRIV Reporter Hilary Whittier is signing off from the station after a year and a half to go into PR.
Whittier joined KRIV in February 2014 as a multimedia journalist, coming from WPIX in New York.
After just 1 1/2 years she wanted out and back to New York. She will be a communications specialist for Commercial Real Estate Services.
"Fox has been a wonderful adventure. It's a station full of good people that I now call my friends. I simply miss nyc. As cheesy as it may sound, my soul belongs there. After accomplishing a lot in the news business, I thought it was time to try something new. To take everything I have learned from the journalism world and apply it to a new career outside the hamster wheel of TV news."
Did Diane Sawyer and ABC promise Bruce Jenner an Espy award if he would talk exclusively to Sawyer?
The NY Post says that TV insiders were sniping that ESPN agreed to honor Jenner with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award in exchange for her exclusive interview with ABC’s Sawyer, where Jenner spoke for the first time about being transgender. ESPN is owned by Disney/ABC.
It appeared to be no mistake that Diane Sawyer shared the spotlight with Caitlyn Jenner at Wednesday night’s ESPY Awards.
“Jenner was given the award after the Sawyer interview. After all, ESPN is part of the ABC family,” said one insider. But another said Sawyer nabbed the exclusive of her own accord: “No deal was done. Vetting for the ESPY Awards didn’t start until long after the Sawyer interview was concluded, about six weeks later.”
The late-April interview was promoted heavily on ESPN.
During her speech, Jenner, 65, thanked Sawyer repeatedly and called her a friend: “I’d like to thank, personally, my buddy Diane Sawyer. You know, you can only tell your story the first time once. And Diane, you did it so authentically and so gracefully. And me and the community is so thankful for that and I thank you so much, Diane. I’m so proud to have you as a friend.”
Last month, an ESPN spokesperson said, “That rumor is false. The Arthur Ashe Award and Diane Sawyer interview were never connected.” An ABC News rep said, “There is absolutely no connection between the interview and the award.”
Page Six is trying to say that a rivalry is brewing between Diane Sawyer and Good Morning America Anchor Robin Roberts.
And they are pointing to Caitlyn Jenner as proof.
The gossip page writes that despite Robin Roberts getting a backstage interview with Caitlyn Jenner at the ESPYs, TV insiders whispered the seasoned sports reporter and “GMA” co-host was unhappy that she was overshadowed by Jenner’s fawning gratitude toward Diane Sawyer, with whom Jenner first discussed her transition to a woman in April.
After Jenner reached for Sawyer’s hand as she walked to the stage to accept her award and thanked Sawyer from the stage, sources told us that Roberts believes, “Diane is trying to steal her thunder,” amid whispers of a huge rivalry between the TV pair.
But an ABC rep insisted: “This is silly. With 8 million watching, ABC News was lucky to have two of their biggest stars at the ESPYs. Robin and Diane call themselves Thelma and Louise because they root for each other. Someone is trying to create drama where there is none.”
While all the focus in on the Today Show vs. Good Morning America, CBS This Morning is quietly moving up the ratings ladder.
In fact CBS This Morning is in the closest competitive position with NBC in more than two decades.
The CBS morning show posted double-digit percentage gains among adults 25-54 (+14%, 0.8/07 from 0.7/06), viewers (+11%, 3.18m from 2.86m), women 25-54 (+13%, 0.9/07 from 0.8/06) and women 18-49 (+20%, 0.6/06 from 0.5/05) compared to a year ago for the week ending July 10.
According to Nielsen live plus same-day ratings, CBS this morning added +320,000 viewers year-over-year, bringing the viewership gap with NBC to only 871,000 viewers. This week marks the closest competitive position to NBC for a CBS morning news broadcast in nearly 21 years (since the week ending 7/29/94).
Television year-to-date, CBS is the only network morning news broadcast posting gains in adults 25-54 (+13%, 0.9/07 from 0.8/06) and viewers (+9%, 3.37m from 3.08m) compared to last year.
WZVN (Ft. Myers) chief meteorologist John Patrick got his panties in a bunch when a WINK started airing promos that they had the most accurate weather forecast.
Patrick took to Facebook and bashed WINK for making that claim and said that he had scientific proof that his forecast was the most accurate.
He pointed to the research company Weather Rate as his proof that his forecast was the most accurate.
He posted this video to Facebook:
SWFL's VERIFIED Most Accurate Forecast is ONLY on ABC7SWFL'S REAL WEATHER AUTHORITY - PLEASE SHAREI'm noticing more and more that WINK-TV is trying to claim having Southwest Florida's Most Accurate Forecast. Simply stated, this is a fabrication. How do I know? I have scientific proof from WeatheRate, a third party not affiliated with ANY television station, that says only ABC7 has Southwest Florida's VERIFIED Most Accurate Forecast. You will not hear WINK use words like "verified," "certified," or "proven" because they can't back up their made up claim. I can. I even share this proof with you in the video.More of you are trusting me and the StormWarn 7 Forecast Team at ABC7 when it comes to getting our weather in SWFL right. WINK has taken notice of this and that's why they are trying to confuse you. When you turn on the TV for your weather, make sure it's on Southwest Florida's VERIFIED Most Accurate Forecast, plain and simple, with no confusion. You get that ONLY from ABC7 News on WZVN-TV, at www.abc-7.com/weather or on the "ABC7 Fort Myers" app, FREE in your App Store or Google Play.#SWFL #SouthwestFlorida #MarcoIsland #EvergladesCity #FGCU #Immokalee #AveMaria #GoldenGateEstates #GoldenGate #BonitaSprings #Estero #SanCarlosPark #FortMyersBeach #FortMyers #CapeCoral #Captiva #Sanibel #Bokeelia #Matlacha #PineIsland #LehighAcres #Alva #PortCharlotte #PuntaGorda #Arcadia #Clewiston #MooreHaven #LaBelle #FLwx

What Patrick should have pointed out is that his station shells out big bucks to Weather Rate so they can make that claim on air and in print.
This is a place where full disclosure would have been a good idea.

Tenga owned WMAZ (Macon) took a power hit just before the morning newscast was supposed to start.
WMAZ's station's motto is "Straight from the Heart", but this morning's newscast came straight from the parking lot and it looked like something put on by some middle school kids and their camera phone.
Check out the brief newscast after the jump.
