I'm Not Going to Partake...

This weekend was the start of Daylight Savings Time and I will not be participating.

Despite the fact that Florida has voted to end Daylight Saving time, we are still moving our clocks ahead or back each year.

For some like me that gets up not long after midnight, this is a pain in the ass and I will not be participating in Daylight Saving Time.

First off, no daylight is saved, it is just moved from the beginning of the day till the end of the day. You do not get and “extra hour of light” as so many people are fond of saying.

FTVLive will be staying on our same sleep schedule and that means that for the next few months, you will likely see FTVLive posting the first updates a little later than before. We had been posting the first updates between 5:30 and 6AM. Now that will move closer to between 6:30 and 7AM.

This will really impact the AM news people on the East Coast that like to jump on FTVLive early.

Please don’t blame me, blame the stupid politicians that keep letting this sham happened every year, twice a year.

Right now, I’m tired and cranky, so let’s do another meme Monday of news stories.

Shit is Going Down in Columbus

One Anchor has been jettisoned, another has gone M-I-A and some on staff is calling the news News Director a “terror.”
