If you had the KABC app downloaded of your phone, you got a number of "Breaking News Alerts" from the station yesterday. 

One alert after another was blowing up people's phones. 

So, what was the huge news out of LA? 

It was just a test alert and nothing was really going on.

That next sound you hear, is people uninstalling the KABC app to stop being bothered by the station's tests.
