Many would argue that it is never a good time to have an affair.
But, it's really not a good time when you are covering one of the most interesting Presidential races in history.
Fox News has sent Chief White House Correspondent ED Henry to the sidelines after a tabloid made claims that he was having a nearly year long affair with a Las Vegas hostess.
“We recently became aware of Ed’s personal issues and he’s taking some time off to work things out,” a Fox News spokesperson said in an emailed statement to FTVLive.
It's more than likely that Henry did not have a choice about time off.
It is also going to be hard from him to comeback from.
If the allegations turn out to be true and he did cheat on his wife, NPR Deputy Washington Editor Shirley Hung, then how can he effectively do his job?
Can he sit down with Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton and accuse them of not being truthful?
Both candidates could turn right around and say, "Ed what about you being truthful with you wife?"
Henry is now is the same boat as Brian Williams, once you are shown to lie, credibility is lost.
The good news for Henry, somehow BriWi still has a job.
Maybe the same can happen for him.
