The Chief Photographer at KGW is putting the lens cap on the camera and leaving the station. 

KGW Chief Photog Karl Petersen is another one of the longtime Tenga staffers who is taking the buyout and leaving the station. 

The Tegna buyouts maybe saving the company big bucks, but the talent drain seems like it will have to hurt. 

Losing all the experience, replacing them with younger and cheaper as got to show in the on air product. 

But, TV is no longer about the on air product and is now all about the money. 

The times are not changing..... they have already changed. And not necessarily for the better.
