Scripps Station Puts New Newscast on Hold

7 days ago, FTVLive told you that Scripps owned WKBW (Buffalo) was going to add weekend morning newscasts.

“Our viewers don’t take weekends off and mornings are a prime time when they need news and information the most,” said WKBW GM Micheal Nurse at the time.

Well maybe the viewers don't take the weekends off, but WKBW is still doing so.

The elaborate plans they made a week ago are now on hold.

Not sure the real reason, but here is the internal memo obtained by FTVLive that was sent out by Nurse to the staff:
