WTMJ Reporter and weekend news anchor Tom Murray is leaving the station to work for Oak Creek Assemble of God Church. 

Murray told viewers in a Facebook post that God and the Holy Spirit started leading him to this direction two years ago. 

Here is what he wrote on Facebook:

A big announcement today for our family. My 8+ years at TODAY'S TMJ4 will come to an end in a few weeks. I am excited to join the Oak Creek Assemble of God ministry staff at the end of August. In 2005, I came to understand what Christ did for me (Romans 10:9-10) and it's been quite a journey ever since. Through prayer and the Holy Spirit, God started leading me in this direction about two years ago. This may come as surprise for many of my longtime friends (especially if we went to college together). I am thankful God uses imperfect people. Jennifer and I are looking forward to this next adventure!
