WKMG General Manager Skip Valet called a brief staff meeting to tell them he was leaving the station. 

Valet has been with the station just over 6 years, coming from the News Director gig at KPRC. 

From 2001-2006, Valet was the News Director at WKMG and returned 3 years later as the GM. 

No word yet on where he is headed.
