Back in August 2013, FTVLive told you that Don Shafer is was hired as News Director at XETV in San Diego.

Shafer came to the station from WEEK in Peoria. IL.

Now, a couple of sources are telling FTVLive that Shafer is out at the SoCal station. We don't have any details yet and are still working the story at this point.
