WHAS News Director Mark Neerman has "resigned" from the station.

The station isn't commenting on the real reason, but Neerman's "resignation " effective immediately.

The staff got word that Neerman was gone in an email from GM Linda Danna. 

Neerman had been at the station since 2009.
