Hmmmm? The Shoe Looks Different on this Foot

We know that when it comes to "Fair and Balanced", it's nothing more than a hot air slogan at Fox News.

But a look at jus two interviews done by the same anchor make that very apparent.

There is a story make it's way through the Internets about an interview Fox News Anchor Lauren Green did an interview with religious scholar Reza Aslan, a professor of religion, about his new book Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth. Aslan subsequently spent the entire interview defending his right as a religious scholar — a religious scholar who happens to be a Muslim — to write a historical book about Jesus.

Buzzfeed writes that while host Green spent the interview asking Aslan about his Muslim faith, Green never asked a professor from a university affiliated with Southern Baptists why he wrote a book about Islam in an interview two years earlier.

Green was interviewing Barry Vann, a professor at the Southern Baptist-affiliated University of Cumberlands about his book Puritan Islam: The Geoexpansion of the Muslim World. The interview largely focused on Vann’s book.

Here is the interview Green did on Friday:

Renowned academic and author Reza Aslan is forced to respond to a barrage of Islamophobic attacks during an interview with Fox News host Lauren Green.

And here is her interview with Barry Vann from 2011:

Fox News' "Spirited Debate" with Lauren Green, the network's chief religion correspondent. Vann discusses his new book Puritan Islam: The Geoexpansion of the Muslim World.
