This From The TV Station

Yesterday, FTVLive told you how the social media of WTAP, the Gray station in Parkersburg, WV, was posting pictures of Anchor Phyllis Smith’s vacation in Hawaii.

The thing is that these posted on the station’s social media account. There was no context, just random photos of from 4,601 miles away Parkersburg.

The posts didn’t tell us why the Anchor was there or give any other context than just here is a view, here’s a luau.

It wasn’t like this was on the Anchor’s page, it was the station’s page.

Maybe this week, they can give viewers some random pictures of London.

I hope Gray is embarrassed, because they damn well should be.
